Anna Livia Croella is a tenure-track Assistant Professor at Universitas Mercatorum, Faculty of Technological and Innovation Sciences. She received her PhD in Operations Research from Sapienza University of Rome in May 2022, where she also obtained her MSc in Management Engineering.
In April 2018, she received a post degree recognition prize as one of the 400 outstanding students of Sapienza University of Rome.
In August 2022, she was one of the four finalist of AIROYoung Best Thesis 2022 at the International Conference on Optimization and Decision Science (ODS2022).
In October 2022, she received an Honorable Mention Award at 2022 RAS Student Paper Competition of INFORMS Railway Applications Section.
In February 2025, she received the Young Women 4 OR 2024-25 prize by the EURO WISDOM Forum.
